Our workshop looked at two specific design problems, both simple to explain, but with lots of creative possibilities. Taken within context of the big picture, it was possible to design solutions without having to deal with the larger complex solution. So rather than our cook trying to "shove"' the entire bull into the kitchen, we could think about modularity, reuse, and other design strategies that can be "cooked" faster.
